Aberrometers
An aberrometer measures the way light travels through your entire optical
pathway and compares it to the way light travels through an optically
perfect eye. By bouncing the light off your retina and measuring the
imperfections of your eye, the aberrometer creates a 3-D Wavefront map of
your cornea. This unique 3-D map is then used for pre-operative screening
to design a Wavefront LASIK procedure for you. On surgery day, the
information from the map is transferred electronically to the laser,
enabling your doctor to customize a laser vision procedure to your unique
